Animal Welfare (Zoos) Code of Welfare 2005

Anyone who is responsible for the welfare of animals (including wild animals held for rehabilitation) held by zoos (including animal parks and aquariums) must be aware of the following codes of welfare and comply with the minimum standards in the codes and the general provisions of the Animal Welfare Act 1999 (offsite link to www.legislation.govt.nz).
