Biosecurity Summit

New Zealand Biosecurity Summit

Since 2003, Biosecurity New Zealand has convened a Biosecurity Summit for all biosecurity stakeholders each year in November. These include representatives from Central, Regional, and Local Government, importers and exporters, industry, tertiary institutes, the science community, pest management companies, community groups, and more. The Biosecurity Summit is an ideal opportunity for parties involved and interested in biosecurity to meet, discuss issues and raise concerns relating to biosecurity and share information.

The 2009 summit has been deferred to November 2010, in Wellington New Zealand.
