BORIC
The Biosecurity Organisms Register for Imported Commodities, or BORIC, is a record of organisms which may be linked to plants or plant products imported into New Zealand.
These organisms can be anything from slugs, mites and spiders to a fungus or virus. BORIC will tell you if the quarantine status for each organism is regulated or non-regulated. Regulated organisms are those which would result in some action if they were intercepted by MAF at New Zealand’s border.
