Application for Permit to Import Animal Products
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL MAFBNZ PERMIT HOLDERS
The MAF Biosecurity New Zealand Import Standards office will not be processing new permit requests during the period Thursday 17 December 2009 until Tuesday 5 January 2010.
It is requested that any permit that is due for renewal prior to Thursday 14 January 2010 is submitted to the permits office by close of business Thursday 10 December 2009. Any permit application received after this date will not be processed until the New Year.

Expected processing time for this type of permit is 5–10 working days upon receipt of completed application. Please also allow at least 4-10 days for international postage. Permits to import that require a case-by-case risk assessment such as chicken jerky pet foods and processed composite products containing honey, pollen, or royal jelly will be subject to extra processing time of up to 20 working days.
The completed form should be returned to the address below, where requirements will be checked before issuing a permit to import.
