Application for Permit to Import Nursery Stock

Important Notice for MAF Permit Holders

The MAF Biosecurity New Zealand Import Standards office will not be processing new permit requests during the period Thursday 17 December 2009 until Tuesday 5 January 2010.

It is requested that any permit that is due for renewal prior to Thursday 14 January 2010 is submitted to the permits office by close of business Thursday 10 December 2009. Any permit application received after this date will not be processed until the New Year.

Application for permit to import high value crops
The permit application form for high value crops must be completed for the following commodities only:

Actinidia, Castanea, Castanopsis, Citrus, Corylus, Fortunella, Fragaria, Ipomoea batatas, Juglans, Malus, Miscanthus x giganteus, Persea, Poncirus, Prunus, Pyrus, Ribes, Rubus, Solanum tuberosum (if testing is required in New Zealand), Vaccinium, Vaccinium macrocarpon, and Vitis.

Information on viewing PDF files

 

Completed forms should be returned to the Plamt Imports Office, where requirements will be checked before issuing a permit to import. Allow up to 10 working days for processing.
