Independent Review Panel report on Provisional Import Health Standards for Pig Meat

MAF received the report of the Independent Review Panel on Provisional Import Health Standards for Pig Meat on the 31^st of March 2010.

The Director General of MAF is currently giving this lengthy report careful consideration.

MAF has arranged to meet with key stakeholders on Friday 30^th April 2010 to seek their views on the content of the report before it makes a decision on the way forward.

MAF is not able to provide further comment until it has considered the report, the views of key stakeholders, and can announce what action it has decided to undertake.
