If you have found a pest (insect/spider etc) or plant disease that you think is a biosecurity risk, call the Exotic Pest and Disease Hotline

If a particular common or unusual pest or plant has piqued your curiosity and you want to know more we suggest you refer to our research links below.

Check the Pests and Diseases watchlist to see whether your suspect is considered 'unwanted', or has been resident in New Zealand for some time.
