Green goddess
Zantedeschia aethiopica ‘Green Goddess’

Green goddess
Description
Green goddess is similar to the whiteflowered arum lily, but is most easily distinguished by its green flowers. It is an evergreen plant with large arrowshaped leaves, growing in clumps up to 1.5 m tall. The flower spathe is white at the base but green towards the tip. The amount of green on the flower can vary. Fruits remain somewhat encased by the old flower spathe.
Impact
Green goddess is a common garden escapee, forming colonies in the wild. It is spread by birds and is particularly invasive in wet areas.
