A new revised Official Assurance Programme (OAP) Requirements for Export of Live Animals and Germplasm

Current Official Assurance Programme for Export of Live Animals and Germplasm
The revised Official Assurance Programme (OAP) - Requirements for Export of Live Animals and Germplasm
(1063 KB) became mandatory from 1 May 2009. Exporters are advised to familiarise themselves with this programme so that they are aware of the requirements that apply to them.

Since the issuing of the new OAP, a number of questions have arisen about interpretations of various sections of the OAP. MAFBNZ has provided clarifications, and these are now recorded in the issues register.
