Official Assurance Programme for Export of Live Animals and Germplasm

The revised Official Assurance Programme (OAP) - Requirements for Export of Live Animals and Germplasm (1063 KB) became mandatory from 1 May 2009. Exporters are advised to familiarise themselves with this programme so that they are aware of the requirements that apply to them.

Since the issuing of the new OAP, a number of questions have arisen about interpretations of various sections of the OAP. MAFBNZ has provided clarifications, and these are now recorded in the issues register.
