IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL MAFBNZ PERMIT HOLDERS

The MAF Biosecurity New Zealand Import Standards office will not be processing new permit requests during the period Thursday 17 December 2009 until Tuesday 5 January 2010.

It is requested that any permit that is due for renewal prior to Thursday 14 January 2010 is submitted to the permits office by close of business Thursday 10 December 2009. Any permit application received after this date will not be processed until the New Year.

Important Notice for MAF Permit Holders

As of Tuesday 25 March 2008 all Import Permits issued by the MAF Biosecurity New Zealand Imports Standards office will be on MAF Biosecurity New Zealand paper.

The new permit paper will have the MAF Biosecurity New Zealand logo across the top, with a smaller Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry logo in the bottom left.

For permits issued prior to this date it will not be necessary to get these re-issued on the new paper. The permit will expire as per usual, on the expiry date given on the permit.
